The Tigerfibel is a German Second World War training manual for Tiger tank crews. Its quirky treatment of important information was unique among other primers of this period. We were tasked with producing the first English language version of this hard-to-find and sought-after publication as a faithful facsimile of the original. Particular care was taken with producing an accurate translation, and in authentically recreating wartime paper quality, ink colours and binding style. Extensive art working was needed to incorporate the translated text into the scanned original page designs without compromising the appearance and spirit of the original publication.
